The composite score for earlyReading is weighted sum of 2 or more specific subtests from selected FastBridge assessments administered for universal screening. There are typically four sub-tests for each screening period that need to be completed in order to get the composite score. The sub-test names that need to be completed for each period will be in green on the screening page. The sub-tests that make up the composite may change from screening period to screening period.
If CBMR is one of the sub-tests listed in the composite, all three passages must be completed before a composite score will be given. If there is an i behind the CBMR score, that indicates that CBMR is incomplete, or not all of the passages have been scored.
Composite scores are only available for KG and 1st grade. We don't have benchmarks for any grades higher than 1st. You can use earlyReading with students that are in higher grades, but a composite score will not be created for them once they finish the composite subtests.
