FastBridge Lab Measures – FastBridge

FastBridge aims to offer the best research-based assessment and decision-making tools for educators. As new tools are developed and researched, they are made available to users in a Lab phase. This Lab phase allows users the opportunity to preview these tools and provide feedback as well as allows the FastBridge research team to conduct additional analysis of data collected during the Lab phase. Only once a Lab tool has been confirmed as fully ready for widespread use will it be endorsed as appropriate for instructional decision-making in schools.

A list of assessments in the Lab phase can be found in the FastBridge Knowledge Base in an article titled “Assessments by Level” (published July 9, 2017). Following our core value of transparency included below are the known issues for the measures in the Lab phase. This list contains the Lab-related items that are believed to affect a number of users and which may have a noticeable impact on usability or functionality. FastBridge Learning is working to address these issues, with priority given to issues that do not have workarounds and those which significantly impact assessing students or using assessment results. The list will be updated weekly during fall, winter, and spring as items are addressed.

Together, we make this Lab measures better, with the goal of eventually entering mainstream use in FastBridge.

Score “hover over” text does not always display the correct information.
Some test items may appear outside UI borders on Chromebook devices.
When accessing the Group Screening report the column sorting function does not display.
In the District Manager view, the Group Screening report Assessment drop-down list does not include the COMPefficiency assessment.
In the Screening tab, the COMPefficiency assessment displays the incorrect rate.
