Note: The staff upload function is for Adding NEW staff members only. This function will not edit or remove existing accounts.
The Staff Upload can be used by District Managers and School Managers to add Specialist and Group Proctor accounts. District Managers can also add School Managers this way. The Staff Upload can't be used to create Teacher (Classroom User) accounts, because Teacher accounts require additional information. Teacher accounts are generally created through the Roster Upload.
Create a Staff Roster
Use the following instructions to create a .csv file with the proper information in each column.

User ID |
This is the unique identifier for this account in FastBridge, and also the user login name. We do not support multiple roles for the same User ID.
Classroom User accounts use the email address as the login name. If you are adding users that will also have Classroom User accounts (because they need to have students rostered with them), use something else as the User ID on your staff upload.
Note: We only accept alphanumeric, @, underscores, and periods in User IDs. |

A sample file is attached. Once your spreadsheet is completed, save it as a comma delimited (.csv) file and upload it by going to the District Manager or School Manager tab, and choosing Upload Staff Roster. Click Browse.
Navigate to the desired file, and click Open.
After selecting the file, click Submit.
When the file has finished processing, the file name will clear out of the "Upload file:" field, and your accounts will be ready to use.
Resetting Passwords
Passwords for accounts created by the Staff Roster Upload are randomly generated. Users will need to reset their passwords in order to know what they are. To set new passwords, users will need to click on the Request Password? link on our login page.
On the next screen, they should enter their email address and click Request Password again. They will be sent a link to a page where the user can set the password to what they want it to be.
