If students login directly to FastBridge (not Clever, SAML SSO, or DnA districts), disregard the student password section and skip to Manage Student Access.
The Manage Student access page is automatically set up with your first roster upload. It will default to all online assessments that have been enabled for your school/district, and the date range will be from the start of your first screening period to the end of your last screening period. Changes can be made if necessary for your school/district.
If you add assessments after your first Roster Upload, you will need to enable these assessments manually.
For computer-administered assessments (aReading, aMath, COMPefficiency, AutoReading, CBMmath Automaticity, CBMmath CAP, and mySAEBRS), students can log in to the assessments directly with their own user accounts. This is an alternative to using a Group Proctor account.
Student login accounts are automatically created when the student is enrolled in FastBridge; however, the students must be assigned passwords, and access for students must be set up before their logins will work. Managers, Specialists and Group Proctors can Manage Student Login Access and assign passwords.
Student Passwords and Student Login Access are available from the NavBar on the left of your Home tab.
(for District Managers - under Student Info)
(for School Managers - under Student Info)
(for Specialists - in the main menu)

Manage Student Access
This page determines what is available to the student when they log into FastBridge.
Select, Manage Student Access or Student Login Access from your NavBar on the left. Student Access is set up by classroom. The default is set up access for all classrooms for the whole school year, you can adjust the parameters for each school, grade, teacher or classroom. By default, all classrooms show in the list. You can (1) filter by "School", "Grades" or "Staff", or you can (2) Search for a desired classroom. You can also sort by clicking the column headers.
Once you have found the desired classroom(s), you can (1) click on the pencil next to the line you want to edit, or (2) check multiple (or Check All for all visible) lines, and click on the pencil next to the column headers.
The resulting window will allow you to define access for the selected classroom(s).
Select any assessments you want the class(es) to be able to access, and enter a Start and End Date. If you would like to restrict access further, you can choose the hours during which assess is available, and identify by IP Address which computers can access the test. Access affects both screening and progress monitoring, so many districts just set up access for the entire school year at the beginning of the year. If you restrict the end dates, you will have to remember to go in and extend the date for each screening period. After making your selections, click Update.
A pop up message will appear, reminding you to click Apply when finished.
Notice I have added Start and End Dates to Winnie Woods' Homeroom class. Click Apply to save these changes.
A final warning appears. Click Yes to save your changes.
If new teachers are added after Student Access has been set up, you will need to set up access for the new classrooms.
Manage Student Passwords
To Manage Student Passwords, go to Student Passwords from your NavBar on the left. Student Access is set up by classroom. You can (1) filter by "School", "Grade" or "Staff", or you can (2) Search for the desired student(s). You can also sort by clicking the column headers.
Once you have found the desired student(s), you can (1) click on the pencil next to the line you want to edit, or (2) check multiple (or Check All for all visible) lines, and click on the pencil next to the column headers.
You have the option to generate random passwords (each student will have a different password), or to set the same password for all selected students.
Setting a single password is easier for younger students. Passwords can be simple, easy to remember words, with at least 5 characters.
Notice I have given the password "happy" to Martina. The new password will not be saved until I confirm the change by clicking Yes.
When you see the following message, your password(s) has been updated.
